RENT DUE DATE:
Rent is always
due by the 1st day of the month. A late fee of $15 will be added & the
Unit will be locked out if rent isn’t received by the 5th of each
month.
HOW TO PAY RENT:

Pay using ACH, Debit Card, or CC by logging into your
Online Account: www.LegacyStoragePineIsland.com

Mail a check to:
Legacy Storage Pine Island, PO Box 293, Kasson, MN 55944.

Drop off a check through the mail slot in the office door. The
office is located on the south end of the building east of Dollar General at
the intersection of Center Dr and 3rd Ave NE.

Call 507-398-0120 during office hours and provide payment information
over the phone.
HOW TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT ON
OUR WEBSITE:
Use your online account to
view your lease, manually pay rent or set up Auto-Pay, and view payment
history.
Go to: www.LegacyStoragePineIsland.com and click on the “Access your Account” button in the
menu at the top. Then enter
your username/password.
USING THE SUPPLIED BLUE COMBINATION LOCK FOR YOUR
UNIT:
We have provided a blue combination lock for you to
use as the daily lock for your unit. Only you and Legacy Storage have the
combination to this lock. If you decide to use a different lock as your daily
lock, be sure to keep our blue combo lock inside your unit, because upon
move-out you must drop the blue combo lock through the mail slot
in the office door in order to finalize your move-out & get your deposit
back. After you move-out we will
change the combination on the lock and prepare it for the next tenant.
YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO USE ONE LOCK TO SECURE YOUR
UNIT:
Your unit's latch has space for 2 locks, but you
are allowed to use only ONE of those spaces for your daily lock. We
use the other space for overlocks in the event of a late payment. If we need to
overlock your unit and there are two locks installed on the latch, per the
lease we will be forced to cut off one of your locks at your expense.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR UNIT GETS LOCKED OUT DUE TO LATE
PAYMENT:
If your unit is overlocked due to late payment, you
will find an additional yellow combination lock on the latch of your unit. To
regain access to the unit, you will need to pay the amount due. The payment can
be made on our website 24/7, over the phone during office hours, or by mail. Within
48 hours of receiving your payment, we will text or email you the unlock code
for the yellow combination lock. You can use the code to remove the lock and
then you need to drop the yellow lock through the mail slot in the office
door. There will be an additional
charge of $25 if we do not receive the yellow overlock combo lock back from
you.
MOVING OUT: Tenant must
give a 14-day notice prior to moving out. Rent is NOT pro-rated on move-out.
In order to avoid being charged for the full next
month, both of the following conditions must be met: a) You must give your
move-out notice at least 14 days prior to the last day of the month. b) By 5pm on the last day of the
month, you must be completely moved out and the provided blue combination
lock must be returned by dropping it through the mail slot in the office
door. That is how we know that you are actually moved out.
HOW TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK:
We will mail you a deposit refund check only if ALL
of the following are true: 1) We
received a proper 14-day notice. 2)
You don’t have any unpaid rent or charges.
3) The blue combo lock was returned by dropping it through the
mail slot in the office door. 4) Unit
was completely emptied, swept out & undamaged.
